Chance – Rescued from Hell!

I remember every day from there…. I remember because I still have the wounds..all over my body….I fought hard to survive, I fought for my life.., but i cant remember anything before the hell. Who I am? I don’t know, I had no name, no home, nothing…

We can only imagine the hell Chance has been through but now he is safe and needs a home where he will get lots of TLC.

Juno… I don’t want to spend my life in kennels

UPDATE! REHOMED!

I have been in rescue a long time now and spent a year in boarding kennels. Although they have been very nice to me, I really would love a real or even foster home.

Beautiful Juno – please take me home

This really makes me want to cry  😦

I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in kennels, please can you give me a home to call my own.

Cassie in kennels over a year through no fault of her own

I have been in rescue a long time now and spent a year in boarding kennels. Although they have been very nice to me, I really would love a real or even foster home.I love to play ball and having a run in the field at  the kennels who are looking after me.

Beautiful Cassie

Rescue Dog Molly

Poor Molly has now been in kennels over a year, always overlooked. All she wants is a home of her own where she will get lots of nice walks and in return, she will give you 100% devotion.

Molly came into the rescue after she was thrown out of a car and abandoned. She still had stitches following we believe, a caesarian section 😦

Donations save Lives. Just ask Coco!

Let me tell you about Coco.  Against all odds, not only did little Coco survive parvo, she also came through thoracic surgery for Persistent Right Aortic Arch. Without the support and donations from some very kind people I don’t even want to think about what might have been!

On 11 May 2014 two teams of dedicated volunteers will be running the Leeds Half Marathon to raise much needed funds for dogs like Coco. Please help support their effort.

Rescue Dogs like Coco and all the other dogs I write about on this blog need you!

coco-fundraise-4Coco was one of the lucky ones, she was brought into rescue just in the nick of time. She has the full backing of everyone at GSDR and she wants to help other less fortunate than herself. Please donate so we can make the lives of many more of our furbabies in the future.

Coco’s Dad Andy

Grateful thanks to Helen Preshous for the fabulous photos of Coco & friends on the beach.

Shona in Kent: Rescue German Shepherd for Adoption

Shona is a lovely young lady who is looking for a new home urgently through no fault of her own. She is living with an elderly gentleman who has recently been widowed, Shona has become over protective of her owner and the home. This will be sorted with a new home as with the grief her owner is going through she feels he needs protecting.

Barney in Bristol is looking for his Forever Home

Can you help this beautiful Dog?

Sadly, Barney has lost his right eye due to a tumour in 2013 but is otherwise a healthy dog.

Handsome Barney is an 8 year old castrated long coated male who unfortunately is being re-homed through no fault of his own, he has been with his current owners since he was a puppy.

Can you offer Sergei in West Wales a forever home?

Sergei. What a lovely name that is for such a handsome fella!

Generally, Sergei is a good natured dog who just needs to be re-homed where they have more time for him and where he will be away from cats and sheep. He is simply not suitable for his current environment but nevertheless will make a fantastic addition for any family willing to meet the needs of a large active dog.
